Scott Waletzko is an Information Technology executive with over 15 years of experience leading enterprise application development and infrastructure projects and teams. He has a strong technical background, specifically in software engineering using Microsoft development tools. He brings his expertise in these areas to R. Alliance LLC, a consulting firm specializing in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of IT projects.
Prior to joining R. Alliance, Scott created and led several different teams through the range of project phases, from conceptualization to design to implementation. The enterprise solutions he has been responsible for include highly available and secure data centers, systems integration frameworks, enterprise resource management systems, and the world’s first Web-based survey design and administration system. These responsibilities spanned a number of different industries, including Product Inspection and Testing, Market Research, Insurance, and Financial Services. This diversity in experience has contributed to Scott’s ability to understand and analyze business needs in order to identify and develop appropriate technical solutions.
Scott’s involvement with project management as well as the teams responsible for project execution has given him a strong practical understanding of what it means to be “project ready”. In addition to serving on global project steering committees, he has been tasked with designing and establishing software development lifecycles and working with leadership peers to develop and establish consistent project standards. He has managed departmental budgets of up to $600,000 / year, and has been responsible for structuring, staffing, and managing teams of development specialists.
As an engineer, Scott has worked primarily with Microsoft technologies. An expert C# programmer, he was awarded the Most Valuable Professional award each year between 2005 and 2011, recognition by Microsoft for community contributions. He has experience architecting several successful enterprise solutions, including ones with complex integration, globalization, and conversion requirements. Technologies he has designed for and developed with include C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, AJAX, WPF, WCF, SQL Server, and BizTalk.
